What is a cookie?
A cookie is a file which is downloaded in you computer once you access to determinate webs. Cookies allow a web to store and recover information about surfing habits a user or a system has. Depending the information they contain and the way in which the system is used, they can be applied to recognise the user.

Which kind of cookies are used by Yeah Cádiz?
Session cookies: they are temporary cookies which remain in the space of cookies of the system until they abandon the web which uses them. That way none of them are recorded in the user’s disk. The information obtained by means of this cookies helps to make possible the operational management  with each one of the users which is accessing the web in a simultaneous way.

Persistent cookies: they are a kind of cookies whereby the data remains stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a defined period of time. They have a deleting deadline. They are used, for example in the shopping or register process, to avoid having to introduce our data constantly.

Depending on which entity is managing the system or domain from which the cookies are sent and the obtained data are treated, we can distinguish:

Own cookies: these are those which are sent to the user’s device, managed exclusively by us in order to keep a good operation in the site.

Third-party cookies: these are those which are sent to the user’s device from a system or device which is not managed by us, but by another entity, which will treat the obtained data. In our case that entity will be Google.

When you navigate through Yeah Cádiz, the following cookies can be installed in your system:

Log cookies: when the user enters our web and logs in, an own temporary cookie is installed, for him to be able to navigate in his user zone without introducing his data continuously. This cookie will disappear when the user logs out.

Analytic cookies: they are used to study the behaviour of the users in an anonymous way when navigating in our web. That way we will be able to know the most seen contents, the number of visitors, etc. This is an information that we will use to improve the navigation experience and to optimize our services. They can be own or third-party cookies. Google Analytics cookies are found on third-party cookies.

You can allow, block or delete the cookies installed in your system through the configuration options the navigator installed on your computer has.
