For getting to know Cádiz capital city, we recommend you 4 means of transport: on foot, by bus, by bike or by motorbike. The suburban train is not an option because it only has 2 stops and, because of the duration and the prices, it is not worth it. Parking the car is a problem and it doesn’t make sense to tour the historic centre by car. BORRAR: por lo que te puede causar más problemas que soluciones

CÁDIZ ON FOOT
The 95 % of Cádiz cultural interest is close with each other, and once you cross “Puerta Tierra”, it will take you one hour on foot from one part of the city to the other. Beyond that, you will find some church in the principal avenue or in the Cortadura beach. You will find everything else in Cádiz city centre.

CÁDIZ BY BUS
If you are staying outside Cádiz centre (for example, near Ramón de Carranza stadium)the best option is to take the bus until the city centre and, there, you can continue the adventure on foot.

If you have any doubt, the best option is to go to the principal avenue and take the line bus number one, which travel around the whole city (from Plaza España until Cortadura), and it will take you to the city centre. Moreover, its frequency is high (every 5 or 10 minutes).

On the other hand, the number 7 is the second more useful line, which connects La Caleta beach with La Victoria beach. Taking line 5, you will go to “El Corte Inglés”, in case you need to go shopping or to the cinema.
