MADRID
Madrid is the capital of the State and of the Community of Madrid. Also known as "the Villa and Corte", it is the most populous city in the country. It occupies the position nº 38 in the  Economist Intelligence Unit list of cities with better quality of life in the world. We will have the possibility of visiting the famous museums that form the triangle of culture in the center of Madrid: Thyssen Museum, Prado Museum and Reina Sofía Museum, all of them are known worldwide and also an unique and special reason for visiting the capital.



Why visit Madrid?

• Madrid has the double honor: it is not only the capital city of Spain, but also the largest city in the country. Madrid is freely located along the banks of the Manzanares River, which crosses the center of the country. It is also the greenest city in Europe thanks to its multiple parks.

• Madrid got its name from the Arabic word «magerit», which means "place of many currents."
• The official symbol of Madrid is a bear that is standing on its hind legs trying to reach the fruits of a Madroño tree. According to legend, strawberries were grown on the site of the Spanish capital city.
• Another interesting fact - the building of the Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum decades ago, as well as everything new, has been considered the ugliest building in Spain. This museum offers the works of the great Spanish painters of the 20th century, including the "Guernica", the renowned masterpiece of Pablo Picasso.

TOLEDO
Toledo is one of the most beautiful and charming cities in Spain.It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. During the Gothic era, it was the capital of Spain. It was in 1560 when the capital city was moved to Madrid. This explains the impressive medieval architecture that it has. Walking through it is like taking a trip back in time and landing in the Middle Ages, in the best sense of the word. Toledo is known as the city of three cultures, protagonists in the history of Spain.
